STUFF. en Woodie Smalls zijn grootste kanshebbers op de Red Bull Elektropedia Awards
Met elk zeven nominaties zijn de elektronische jazzband STUFF. en rapper Woodie Smalls de favorieten van de vijfde editie van de Red Bull Elektropedia Awards, die dit jaar voor het eerst plaatsvindt in de Wild Gallery in Brussel.
Met respectievelijk drie en twee nominaties spelen Stromae en Oscar and the Wolf, de grote slokops van vorig jaar natuurlijk ook nog mee. Hun boeiende live-parcours dit jaar zorgt ervoor dat ze geduchte concurrenten blijven voor de nieuwkomers.
Ook Vuurwerk (5), Netsky (4 nominaties), Locked Groove (4), LTGL (4), Raving George / Charlotte de Witte (4), BRNS (3), Faisal (3),Kolombo (3), Lawrence Le Doux (3), Lost Frenquencies (3), AMyn (2), DC Salas (2), Moodprint (2),oaktree (2), Soulwax (2) en Tourist Lemc (2) dingen mee naar de prijzen.
De nominaties werden bepaald door een honderdkoppige professionele jury. Nu is het de beurt aan het publiek om over de winnaars te beslissen op awards.redbullelektropedia.be.
Vorig jaar ging de stem naar het publiek hoofdzakelijk naar Stromae, Oscar and the Wolf, Netsky, Locked Groove, Compuphonic, TLP en Tomorrowland. Lefto prijkte dan weer bovenaan de eerste Belgische DJ Top 100 en Fuse stond bovenaan de eerste Belgische Club Top 30. Ook dit jaar is er opnieuw een Belgische DJ Top 100 en Club Top 30.
